6IXTY8IGHT was founded in 2002 by Erik Ryd, a Swedish entrepreneur with an established lingerie manufacturing business in Asia. Erik saw a gap in the market for a youthful and energetic lingerie brand. He seized the opportunity by successfully launching the first ready-to-wear fashion lingerie collection in Paris. In 2003, Erik set up 6IXTY8IGHT's headquarters in Hong Kong and the first store in Beijing, with much success.

From 2006 onwards, the brand expanded beyond its lingerie range, to include underwear, nightwear, loungewear, activewear, apparel and accessories. Splashed in the brand's signature pink hue that celebrates the spirit of the 6IXTY8IGHT girl - playful, cheeky, cool and carefree, each store is a haven for girls to shop the latest fashion and lingerie under a fun and cheerful atmosphere.
