Banuo Ancient Tree

A pu erh tea consisting of thick tea leaves with visible downy buds harvested from ancient trees in Ba Nuo, Mengku. The tea leaves are handpicked in Spring 2022, and processed into maocha (loose tea). Afterwards it was aged for 7 months in loose-form, until we steamed and stone-pressed them into cakes in November 2022. The cakes are double-wrapped in two layers of paper for optimal further aging.

Shipping Methods, Duration Estimates & Fees

When you place an order you're offered one or more of the following shipping methods during checkout:

Airmail: The most economical shipping method for small parcels. Depending on the shipping country airmail costs 7.90 USD or 10 USD (or the equivalent in your selected currency) per 2 KG (4.4 lb) parcel. Airmail parcels currently take approximately 1-3 weeks to arrive for most countries, unless stated otherwise during checkout.

Express shipping (EMS): The fastest method for small and large parcels up to 20 KG. Prices are quoted during checkout based on order weight. The shipping speed is about 1-2 weeks, unless stated otherwise during checkout.

Sea/Surface mail (large parcel): If your order is above 10 KG / 22 lbs in weight, please contact us for favourable pricing.

Note: We always work hard to dispatch your order as fast as possible (usually the next day), but we can’t control delays due to custom clearance (especially during the shopping high season). When you place an order, please take into account the possibility for delays.
