Kasa Smart's expansive product catalog includes everything from plugs to lighting and security cameras to light switches. All Kasa Smart products can be easily managed through the highly-rated Kasa Smart app and connected to your home's secured wireless network without the need for an extra router or hub.

It started in 2015 with a very smart plug. 

But, before that very smart plug, Kasa Smart was TP-Link Research America - TP-Link’s think tank for all things smart home. Building our name in the land of innovation, known as Silicon Valley, we were tasked with doing a deep dive into the smart home market to create customer-centric, reliable and quality products.

Since that first smart plug debut in 2015, we’ve launched smart bulbs, smart light switches, smart cameras and an entire line of smart plugs, including outdoor. And, we’ve done so much more than launch hardware, we’ve created the Kasa Smart app that puts control in your hand. Because, what good is a smart home if you need multiple apps to control it? That doesn’t sound all that smart.

Fast forward to today, and we have one of the highest-rated smart home apps (4.8 on the App Store/4.7 on Google Play), and we’ve made the connected home even smarter and easier to manage. No need to download different apps for light bulbs and cameras, the Kasa Smart app is home to everything, putting you in complete control. Now, that’s what you call smart!
