Dreame Technology, established in 2015, is an innovative company with the vision to “enhance the living quality of global users”. The Company focuses on high-end cleaning appliances by leveraging astrodynamics technologies. At the end of 2017, Dreame joined the Xiaomi Ecological Chain, as the driving force and leading enterprise of smart household cleaning appliances.

The "Geek" DNA

The CEO & Founder, Mr. Yu Hao,  majored in computational fluid mechanics at Tsinghua University. He liked to invent things since childhood. At the age of 12, he invented the “double control circuit”, where his dream of technology originated. In 2009, Yuhao launched a space research project called “Sky Workshop” at Tsinghua University, attracting attention and investment from The Boeing Company. “Sky Workshop” was the earliest hackerspace in China, and is now the leading student technology team at Tsinghua University. 

Yu Hao decided to start his own business in 2015, leveraging astrodynamic technologies with trivial things in life. Dreame has completely changed the “household cleaning” industry ever since.

With aerospace science being the core technology, Dreame has built a high-tech R&D team and product team. The R&D personnel accounts for up to 80% of the team, with a priority in tackling key technical problems. It is led by former Tsinghua University R&D team members, including experts who have previously worked on the Shenzhou 6 project.

Innovations & Technologies

After years of hard work and research, Dreame has come up with a series of core inventions and more than 150 core patents, such as the high-speed motor, monocular machine vision, SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping), and the multi-cone cyclone separation, among which multiple patents are in a global leading position.

Dreame is constantly innovating in the field of intelligent cleaning and applying high-end technologies to cordless vacuum cleaners, robot vacuums and more, gradually building Dreame’s product line. During manufacturing, Dreame adopts 3 production lines to ensure an annual throughput of a million units, which is capable of receiving multi-category ODM orders.
